The 2010 season kicks off with the Cold Hands Paddle at Cabrillo Beach in San Pedro at 8AM. Come for the race, stay for the raffle of an awsome Joe Bark paddleboard! Thanks, Joe!

A great way to start the paddling season: an awesome ( some say not even cold!) 4 mile course from Cabrillo Beach, open to paddleboards, SUPs, and (new this year) outrigger canoes. No fee to race! Just bring money to buy the killer shirts and a chance to win 2 Joe Bark paddleboards. All proceeds benefit the Sarcoma Alliance.
Race registration starts at 7am, race starts at 8am. Raffle at 11am. Plenty of parking.
Ocean of Ohana SoCal will be there to demo brand new OC-1s. Try one!
Joe Bark will also have plenty of paddleboards and SUPs to demo

The Ocean of Hope is the largest annual fundraising campaign for The Sarcoma Alliance. 2010 marks the 11 year anniversary of both the Ocean of Hope (O2H) and the Sarcoma Alliance; and it has been a fantastic journey! In that time, O2H has raised over $500,000 in support of sarcoma cancer patients and their families.

The Ocean of Hope started as a single event, intertwined with the historic Catalina Classic paddleboard marathon every August between Catalina Island and Manhattan Beach. Ten
years later, O2H is comprised of not only paddleboard racers but outrigger, and stand up paddlers racing in open ocean events throughout the year.

Team O2H is made of a dedicated group of athletes who commit themselves to support the Sarcoma Alliance and the thousands of sarcoma patients and their families that rely on it. The goal is to raise awareness and funds for The Sarcoma Alliance so that it can continue provide guidance, education, and support to the sarcoma cancer community.

Honor a loved one! Raise $3000 for a “honor sticker” sponsorship and your loved one’s name will accompany an O2H athlete on their journey from Catalina to Manhattan beach:
32 miles across the Pacific.

Thanks so much for your continued support!
